Ann Abernethy : Television personality : Real Estate Investor

Ann Abernethy hails from Oklahoma City where she began her career with ABC as a Vice/President and Promotion Manager and host of a public affairs talk show. If her name is familiar with audiences, it's because Regis Philbin whisked her off to New York to be his co-host on "The Morning Show". Soon after, love prevailed and she met and married a television executive, moved to Los Angeles and had two children.

Having purchased her first property at age 26 in Oklahoma, Ann's real estate interests continued throughout her career. She has purchased and rehabilitated houses from 1300 square feet to over 23.000 square feet in several locations across the country. After "flipping" several houses on the west side of Los Angeles, Ann began investing in the Santa Barbara area. To date, she has rehabilitated and sold over 30 residential and commercial properties. Ann lives with her family in Santa Barbara and is active in both real estate investing and hosting community events.

In addition to her real estate interests, Ann Barbara hosted her own news feature called "ParentTalk" on the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara. She has served as President of the Montecito Educational Foundation Board, and annually hosts a 12-hour telethon for Santa Barbara's "Unity Shoppe", a non-profit organization serving families in crisis.

After countless renovations, Ann still feels her forte is re-designing existing homes to work for today's lifestyle. Because of her expertise, she has been a keynote presenter at the Pacific Design Center at the annual "West Week Design Conference" in Los Angeles. Her most recent project was developing and selling a 25-acre ranch in the heart of wine country, the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.
