Cat Pollon
Cat Pollon in her own words:
I was born in the early 60's; that's as close as I will get to that date....Attended both
private and public schools and also studied in Europe. I'm one of those "Jack-of-all-Trades;
Master-of-None" people.
Many people say that it's silly to spend lots of money on travel because once it's over, you have
nothing but memories. I could say the same is true of eating and drinking. After all, we only
really "rent" food and drink. But the photos, experience and indelible memories are very valuable
to me and there are life experiences that only travel can bring. So I travel as much as I can.
I like luxury and what I call "rustic luxury".
I have three places which I consider second homes: Gstaad, Mustique and Venice, Italy. I don't own
homes there but I go to those places every year; or every other year in the case of Mustique. First
on my travel wish list are: The Maldives, A return to Egypt and Dubai, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.
I've been there but not long enough. As for hotels, I much prefer very small boutique hotels and in
resort areas, they must not admit persons under the age of 12. That's my little quirk.
A small list of favorites in the travel category ~ In no particular order.....

The Lowell in NYC
The Cipriani in Venice
The Palace in Gstaad
The House in Barbados
The Inn of the Five Graces in Santa Fe
The Mena House in Cairo

The Firefly Guesthouse on Mustique
And let's not forget The Montecito Inn in Santa Barbara
